Yesterday it was announced that a new downtown Dallas park has broken ground. You might be thinking to yourself, "How sweet is this! Finally the big park spanning Woodall Rodgers is under way. Whoooooo hooooooooo!"
Nope. Wrong.
The park they are referencing is the one in the center of downtown bordered by Commerce and Pearl. You'll notice the only news media to report on this park was the DMN and Belo 8. Wanna know why? It's because Belo management gave a large chunk of change to finance the park. Belo owns DMN and Channel 8.
